Merdeka

I would like to share with you guys the best article I've ever read for our 50th Independence Day. Besides it featured my dad's hometown which is the same as the author's, I think the article is well-written and the message is succesfully conveyed (although the abstract element is always there.. that's the beauty of journalism by the way). How I wish I have the same talent to write an article like that!

Ironically, my Dad was born before Malaya's Independence Day but he was then too small to experience the same journey as the author. I always had this strange passion with my Dad's birthplace, although I seldom go to the place due to many reasons and constraints. Recently, a new exit gateway is open, which connected the place directly to the North-South Expressway which then consequently leave me less reasons for not going back there more frequent, right? Ok, I 'll try my best to go back to my dad's hometown for the coming Hari Raya celebration, insya Allah.

Happy 50th Independence Day, Malaysia.

Yeay!

Assalamualaikum and good day,

Alhamdulillah, my blogger account had enabled its long lost function-which means I can post thousands of pics again in my entries. Don't ask me why and how it happened, since I'm not a technology savvy whatsoever. But I do love posting pictures and words in each of my entries!

By the way, it's still not to late to feature these photos which was dated exactly one week ago. Congratulations to Kak Hanis and Pokjak for your solemnisation and wedding..simple but very nice!(It even featured my favourite colour as its theme! OK, I'm being a bit biased here). And please bear with the poor quality of pics, I was just using my 2Megapix phone camera. Enjoy:)

After solemnisation (err, akad nikah daa..)

With father and mother (in-laws for the husband!)

The newly wed

For the groom
OK then, who's next? In my planner I have cousin Dayah's on 24 Nov and big bro's on 9 Dec.. can't wait!
Until then, may I have the opportunity to post more entries soon..:) Insya Allah.

Getar

The remainings

Pair of Swarovski' s tortoises
Assalamualaikum and good day to all.
Sorry for my absence.
It's a combination of both intentionally and unintentionally reasons for not updating this blog for quite a while, but I guess you guys can guess the reason why.
I'm in my mid final year, final semester of my whole life as a university student, so lots of things need to be done~ datelines, assigments, reports, resumes, interviews, whats nots. Also included some personal stuffs and social obligation activities, for that matter.Hahha.
My university's will conduct a convocation ceremony soon, thus we expect lots of seniors will be back in the university starting today.Welcome home, folks. Happy graduating :) (ehemm somebody owe me belanja makan sebab baru dpt keje kat Penang! Kan akak kan:P)
Not to forget my two dearest best friends in school, Syamott and Vinci who just earned their scroll in the past few weeks. Thousand apologies for not being there on your memorable day. I regret for not having the chance to hand Syamott her favourite white lilies and sebakul Ferrero Rocher as demanded by Vinci. But hey, my wish and prayers always with both of you, every now and then. (lagipun saya tak grad lagi, nanti saya jeles plak tengok korang.huhu. OK laa..later when we meet sila tuntut hadiah2 tersebut daripada saya okeh!!)
Besides, I'm living my life to the fullest in my (insya Allah) the final few months in the university. Lots of juniors to be met, to had sharing sessions and spend time makan-makan together, lots of friendship to be sustained and kept forever, many inspired lecturers to be envied and appreciated, the remains of my FYP that need to be completed and create a remarkable end of it-and the list goes on and on and on.
Ironically, I'm still in the university but most of my time I've started to imagine my life after I graduate, and how I will miss all memorable moments I cherished here when I leave the place
for good..( rasa cam pathetic pun ade gak.Huhu.Mungkin inikah sindrom final semester student??)
Life just have to go on, no matter what happen. So live life wisely, as it is too short to be wasted. When time passed by, there's no turning back, but the values and experience earned from the past is the most precious to a led a better life in the future, in here and in the hereafter.
Wallahua'lam.

All You can Eat?

LIFE IS ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT BUFFET.

Kesimpulannya jangan cari penyakit..

Life is all about choices. So choose!

Its amazing how human's brain works, isn't it :)

AZAN: THE AMAZING PHENOMENON

**This article is too good not be pasted in this blog. Eventhought I've read this before, I still found it's so amazing! Subhanallah=) Thanks Emmet for forwarding this via email.

Amazing as it sounds, but fortunately for the Muslims of the world, it is an established fact. Have a lookat a map of the world and you will find Indonesia on the eastern side of the earth. The major cities of Indonesia are Java, Sumatra , Borneo and Saibil. As soon as dawn breaks on the eastern side of Saibil, at approximately 5:30 am local time, Fajar Azaan begins. Thousands of Muazzins in Indonesia begin reciting the Azaan. The process advances towards West Indonesia . One and a half hours after the Azaan has been completed in Saibil, it echoes in Jakarta . Sumatra then follows suit and before this auspicious process of calling Azaan ends in Indonesia, it has already begun in Malaysia .

Burma is next in line, and within an hour of its beginning in Jakarta, it reaches Dacca, the capital ! city of Bangladesh . After Bangladesh , it has already prevailed in western India , from Calcutta to Srinagar . It then advances towards Bombay and the environment of entire India resounds with this proclamation. Srinagar and Sialkot (a city in north Pakistan )have the same timing for Azaan. The time difference between Sialkot , Quetta ,and Karachi is forty minutes, and within this time, Fajar Azaan is heard throughout Pakistan . Before it ends there, it has already begun in Afghanistan and Muscat .

The time difference between Muscat and Baghdad is one hour. Azaan resounds during this one hour in the environments of Hijaaz-e-Muqaddas (Holy cities of Makkah and Madinah), Yemen , United Arab Emirates , Kuwait and Iraq . The time difference between Baghdad and Alexandria in Egypt is again one hour. Azaan continues to resound in Syria, Egypt , Somalia and Sudan during this hour. The time difference between eastern and western Turkey is one and a half hours, and during this time it is echoed with the call to prayer. Alexandria and Tripoli (capital of Libya ) are located at one hour's difference. The process of calling Azaan thus continues throughout the whole of Africa . Therefore, the proclamation of the Tawheed and Risaalat that had begun in Indonesia reaches the Eastern Shore of the Atlantic Ocean after nine and half hours.

Prior to the Azaan reaching the shores of the Atlantic , the process of Zohar Azaan has already started in east Indonesia , and before it reaches Dacca , Asar Azaan has started. This has hardly reached Jakarta one and half hours later, the time of Maghrib becomes due, and no sooner has Maghrib time reached Sumatra, the time for calling Isha Azaan has commenced in Saibil! When the Muazzins of Indonesia are calling out Fajar Azaan, the African Muazzins are calling the Azaan for Isha.

If we were to ponder over this phenomenon thoughtfully, we would conclude the amazing fact that there is not even a single moment when hundreds of thousands of Muazzins around the world are not reciting the Azaan on the surface of this earth. Even as you read this aterial right now, you can be sure there are atleast thousands of people who are hearing and reciting the Azaan!!!

Allah said, "If you are ashamed of me, I will be ashamed of you."

-Yes, I love Allah. Allah is my fountain of Life and My Savior. Allah keeps me going day and night. Without Allah, I am no one. But with Allah, I can do everything. Allah is my strength-
